auditions terror

im really discouraged ): the choir teacher in charge told me to come back another day for the audition,maybe tmr or day after because my voice is still pretty hoarse from all those cheering and shouting during orientation.well..personally i dont think i cant make it in ACJC Choir.i mean,hello,they have such a pretigious reputation around Singapore and u'd gota have a hella angel voice to get in.and what's with the teacher and his diva attitude,sheesh!well excuse me cause i suppose i just had some ACJC-performing-art-clubs cultural shock.for those who have no clue of what im talking about,well basically ACJC is known for its performing arts club such as choir and drama.especially choir and drama.haha.
anyway after the horrible choir tryout,drama audition was up at 4pm at LT1.Isaac,Joahanna,Mao Hui and I went together.Mao Hui,unfortunately,only went for vocal test and escaped when it was the dance audition.Jo,Isaac and I stayed through the whole thing till 8pm today.the dance audition was pretty tough,before the dance audition started,Mr Tan(an ACSian Theatre alumni)came and did the warm ups with us.goodness me,those stretches and positions that he got us all into was..complex.haha.first time tht i ever encounter that dance would require such complex ways to warm up and all..woah..The choreographer is an Indian man with a diva attitude.yeah many boys in that dance studio dislike his gut coz he said when we're in his studio,no one shall touch his/her hair,fidget around,talk,touch their clothes when he's teaching/giving instructions/giving advices.so yeah..haha..DIVA i tell you.but heck,most arts people are like tht,guess i'd just have to get used to it :P
so yep,whole time ppl were trying their best to keep up to the fast pace of the choreographer and some other assitants and we were only given 3mins to revise those steps,ugh.finally they called us in in groups of four or five to do the whole thing for them and off we go.
results will be up on the drama notice board tomorrow.pretty nervous about it coz i really hope i can get into ACSian Theatre and be part of their all year round production (: it'd be fun to engange myself into a little drama during my college years so as to add some spice and fun into my AC learning experience here.like they say,make the full out of the two years that you have in AC,or u'll regret it!
